All-star Motown and soul comes to Lincoln Castle!
Masters of Soul & Motown will be one of the biggest events of its kind, featuring three top Motown and soul acts.
Topping the bill will be ‘The Real Thing’ who rose to fame in the 70’s with a whole host of chart hits. Songs such as ‘Can You Feel the Force’, ‘Can’t Get by Without You’ and ‘You to Me Are Everything’, have become classic anthems.
Original band members Chris Amoo and Dave Smith, are now celebrating over 45 incredible years in the music industry, still going strong and playing hundreds of concerts across the world.
Together with their band, ‘The Real Thing’ are bound to make Lincoln Castle really come alive, when they take the stage on 9th July.
Special guest will be Ray Lewis, former lead vocalist of The Drifters.
Ray was the lead singer of The Drifters in the 1970s & 80s and he knows just how to revive timeless hits thanks to his own unique voice and professional and charismatic aura.
He will be performing alongside David Lee Andrews, Lejaune Andre Clements, and Fil Straughan who all have their own style and provide fantastic vocals.
With all these professional and amazing voices combined – old times will be resurrected and new experiences enjoyed!

Completing the all-star Lincoln line up will be the fabulous ‘Foundations’.
The Foundations rose to fame in 1968 with their top ten hit ‘Build Me Up Buttercup’. The bands other hits included, ‘In the Bad, Bad Old Days’ and ‘Baby Now That I’ve Found You’.
Today they remain one of the most exciting soul bands touring and still featuring founder member Alan Warner.
This non-stop event of Motown and soul in the magnificent setting of Lincoln castle, is bound to create that true ‘feel good’ factor with hit after hit.
