The company, which is rapidly approaching it's 40th anniversary is not only the largest but the longest established automotive event organiser in the United Kingdom. Live Promotions are to be found not only at the UK's premier Motor Racing Circuits but also some of the largest agricultural showground's and historic parks as well.
In recent years the company has embraced other projects, away from the automotive sector, providing corporate spectaculars for clients such as Euro tunnel and Bauer Media and partnerships with Stoneleigh Park producing a Country Festival. The company's philosophy is to develop and expand its portfolio of events with acquisitions such as Bromley Pageant of Motoring and the prestigious historic motor sport event, Race Retro. We are also proud to announce that Live Promotions are to now produce the mighty Motorcycle News event in Scotland, together with our intention to return to our musical roots with musical spectaculars coming in 2010.
We are also willing and able to draw on our corporate event expertise to assist clients and produce bespoke events and spectaculars.

Truckfest was created 28 years ago, in that time so many changes with road haulage and logistics have taken place that the industry has seen the demise of so many events. Truckfest has been the one constant for operators and drivers year on year, increasing in popularity. Sponsored by Commercial Motor & Truck and Driver in England, and Transport News in Scotland, Truckfest has provided that all important meeting place for all sectors of the industry as well as a viable alternative to make contact with both principles and drivers alike in a relaxed atmosphere.

It was a natural progression for Live Promotions Events to utilize their expertise in the Land Rover sector some years ago, to add to their portfolio of automotive events by working with Land Rover Owner magazine to enhance the very successful event, the "LRO Show" Live Promotions brought the LRO Show to the East of England Showground Peterborough, and following on from its huge success provided the foundation for a new creation which was Land Rover Owner Spring Adventure. Further expansion of the portfolio has seen events aquired at Billing and Shepton Mallet.

2001 saw Live Promotions acquire the largest of the modified car shows, which at the time was "Donny" held at the unlikely Doncaster Racecourse, it had to be seen to be believed with every square metre accounted for the event bristled with cars, babes and music, with thousands of campers enjoying every second of the event from start to finish. In 2005 with the refurbishment of Doncaster Racecourse, the Modified car event needed a new venue and a new look, this saw the birth of the International Styling and Tuning Show, or ISTS at Donington Park bringing all the elements of the successful Donny event together, but adding a new dimension of on track activity. That's not the end of the story, Silverstone was destined to play host to the event that is all about Japanese cars, whether it be a Mitsubishi Evo or a Subaru Impreza, they are to be found at JTS.
Europes leading classic motoring events
Bromley Pageant of Motoring.There can't be many events that attract the variety of Classic cars, as does the Bromley Pageant of Motoring. The annual June one day event plays host to 4,500 classic cars, and whether they be individually entered or part of a club the dedication is the same. What a spectacle!
Race Retro. It's no accident that having gained an appetite for classic vehicles the chance of acquiring the prestigious Race Retro was an opportunity that Live Promotions were not prepared to pass up. Founded seven years ago exclusively to celebrate historic motor sport in all its glory, the three day event which takes place at Stoneleigh Park in March, encompasses all aspects of historic motor sport throughout the rich tapestry of man and machine pitting their wits and machines against each other.
The thrill of seeing five tonne TWO Thousand horse power monster trucks flying through the air as they race head to head for victory is NOT to be missed.

Automotive events would not be complete without including the motorcycle sector; Live Promotions have just completed a three year contract with the British Motorcycle Federation providing event management for their four member events and with this confidence we move forward to the mighty Motorcycle News Scotland at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston for an event which showcases manufacturer product and innovation within the industry Held annually during March, it's not only home to thousands of motorcycle owners and enthusiasts, it's a one stop shop for accessories, new bike auto jumble and meeting place for the like minded. The Royal Highland Centre provides a huge indoor exhibition complex and a secure hard standing area within the show for those traveling to the event on their motorcycle.
