Having just celebrated the 40th anniversary of Live Promotions Events Ltd in many ways you couldn’t have planned it.
The company, founded by Managing Director Colin Ward, initially concentrated on the role of marketing services support for many of the ‘blue chips’ fulfilling their requirements and providing bespoke events to the wholesale and retail sectors. With companies such as Austin Rover, Allied Breweries and Marlboro all engaging Live Promotions to provide unique concepts and strategies for interesting and innovative branding awareness and fulfilment campaigns.
After many years of providing their services for other companies, Live Promotions developed a concept for a commercial vehicle event called Truckfest, which would be both a business to business and consumer event. Providing a shop window for the road haulage industry and a festival for operators and drivers.
30 years ago the Truckfest concept was rolled out and in 2012, as well as celebrating the anniversary of the event, the launch took place of the Irish version. Making five in all.
In 2012 the company was contacted by Burghley Park, who were playing host to Her Majesty the Queen and were honoured to assist with management and logistics support at the prestigious Jubilee event held at the stately home.

Europes leading classic motoring events
Bromley Pageant of Motoring.There can't be many events that attract the variety of Classic cars, as does the Bromley Pageant of Motoring. The annual June one day event plays host to 4,500 classic cars, and whether they be individually entered or part of a club the dedication is the same. What a spectacle!
Race Retro.The three-day event that takes place at Stoneleigh Park in March encompasses all aspects of historic motor sport throughout the rich tapestry of man and machine pitting their wits and machines against each other.
VCE.Three one day events bring together enthusiasts
from every garage and workshop across the country. More than 25,000
visitors attend these events and enjoy perusing the many specialist
stands and club displays.
Created in 1972, Live Promotions was always a music concert promoter. We are now back in music business, promoting concerts at stately homes!
Music has always featured within Live Promotions main events, and
artistes who have appeared for LIVE have been as varied as
Showaddywaddy, through to The Damned, and even the amazing TAKE THAT
complete with Robbie Williams...so Live's credibility in the world of
concert promoting is second to none.
In 2010 the company started promoting outdoor concerts at Stately
Homes...the first concert being held in June at the prestigious
BURGHLEY HOUSE Stamford featured Bjorn Again and the Original BUCKS
FIZZ...
The Manchester Motorcycle Show is back for 2013 at Manchester Central, on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th January

Held annually the events showcase manufacturer product and innovation within the industry. They are home to thousands of motorcycle owners and enthusiasts, it's a one stop shop for accessories, bike auto jumble and meeting place for the like minded.
